He is a long-time IT executive in demanding corporate and public sector entities in boutique commercial and investment banking. As a fun fact, he is also an award winning kayak builder.

Give us a brief overview of the path that led to your current role.
I started in business application requirements and then moved to project management. From there, it led to progressive leadership positions.

Attract and cultivate the best team members possible.
What is the greatest challenge CIOs face today?
It is difficult to figure out how to do everything without significant additional funding. You need to get very creative.
What is the key to success for someone just starting out as a CIO?
Relationships and execution are key.

Successful leaders make important things happen that are bigger than what they can do just themselves.
