CDAOs are still establishing themselves in the C suite, and often, their role hinges on their success in providing this value. They are not just a cost centre, but a key value driver. According to Gartner, “By 2026, 75% of CDAOs who fail to make organisational-wide influence and measurably impact their top priority will be assimilated into technology functions”. Therefore, CDAOs must integrate D&A initiatives into the business and drive measurable business value to stay relevant.

In this interactive discussion, CDAOs will explore best practices and strategies in understanding, executing, and quantifying D&A potential to drive business value and how to engage key stakeholders and promote collaboration.

Topic 1: Value Creation and Quantification of D&A Initiatives

  • How are you building a value story that describes D&A’s specific impact on business outcomes?

  • What are some best practices for recognising and executing monetising opportunities?

  • In what ways are you reenvisioning how you measure and assess the cost and value of data initiatives? How do you prioritise projects based on these outcomes?

Topic 2: Engaging Stakeholders and Embedding D&A into the Business

  • What is the CDAO’s role in driving business innovation? Where are you facing the most push pack to innovative change?

  • How are you communicating the impact you are having on reaching key business objectives and getting executive buy-in?

  • How are you approaching people and change management and upskilling as you strive for business integration and quantifiable value generation?

18:45 - 19:15  Networking Break

19:15 - 20:30  Summary Discussion & Dinner

20:30 - 21:30  Social Hour
