4:30pm - 5:30pm  Executive Networking Reception

5:30pm - 6:30pm  Discussion Topics

The Future-Ready Supply Chain — Strategies for Sustained Advantage

For supply chain leaders, recent years have marked more than a period of ongoing disruption. They have signaled a structural shift in how supply chains must be designed, operated, and governed. Volatility is no longer cyclical or temporary. Regionalization, geopolitical uncertainty, energy constraints, AI-driven transformation, and workforce challenges are reshaping the operating environment and forcing organizations to rethink long-held assumptions about cost, efficiency, and resilience.

The challenge for CSCOs is no longer simply responding to disruption. It is building supply chains that can continuously adapt, make better decisions, and create competitive advantages amid persistent uncertainty. This discussion will explore how leading organizations are balancing margin protection with resilience, redesigning networks around risk-adjusted outcomes, adopting AI-native operating models, and developing the talent needed to thrive in a more complex future.

Discussion Questions:

  1. How can CSCOs shift from treating risk management as a defensive activity to using resilience, visibility, and orchestration capabilities as sources of competitive advantage and growth?
  2. With talent shortages and AI skill gaps becoming long-term constraints, what workforce strategies will be most critical to building an organization that can effectively combine human expertise with AI-driven decision making?
  3. As regionalization accelerates, how should CSCOs evaluate the tradeoffs between resilience, cost, workforce availability, and supply ecosystem maturity when redesigning their networks?
  4. What does geographic optionality look like in practice, and how can supply chain leaders build flexibility into their networks before tariffs, energy constraints, or geopolitical events force action?
  5. Beyond automation, where are organizations seeing measurable business value from AI-native operating models, and what changes to processes, decision-making, and governance are required to achieve it?
